  • Bankai Fam is a hip-hop super group from New York, known for its unique blend of raw lyricism and catchy sounds within the Contemporary Hip Hop genre.
  • They have released music and collaborated with other artists & producers like Ruste Juxx, Sean Price, Easy Mo Bee, DR Period, DJ Sctracth, Bumpy Knuckles, Jupiter A.K.A & more, gaining a following in the hip-hop scene.
  • Together the group has released “On MY SIDE” (2013), "CIVIL WAR" (2016), "The Stance" (2022) & is currently working on a new album not to mention numerous solo projects from the different members most notably Espada #5 Skanks debut “THE SHINIGAMIE FLOWFESSIONAL” (2014) & Espada #7 G-Stats debut “SYKE WARD” (2015). 
In summary, "Bankai" refers to a powerful transformation in the Bleach anime and manga, and "Bankai Fam" is the name of this hip-hop super group. Bankai is the ultimate release of a Soul Reaper's Zanpakutō (soul-cutting sword) in Hip Hop terms the sword is the toungue.
  • To achieve Bankai, a Soul Reaper must be able to materialize and subjugate their Zanpakutō spirit. This process usually takes at least 10 years, and mastering it takes even longer and that is about how long it takes each member to master their lyrical abilities.
  • Bankai significantly increases a Shinigami's power, often by 5 to 10 times compared to their Shikai (initial release).
  • There are various Bankai with diverse abilities, ranging from immense destructive power to strategic utility and even psychological effects on opponents.

The Espada are comprised of ten Lyricists  (Arrancars) with exemplary talent & strength. Members of the Espada are given a number from 0-9. The lower the number, the more Reiryoku (willpower & spiritual sensitivity) the Espada has. Each Espada bears a tattoo displaying their number, placed on a distinct part of their body. 

Their immense amount of power and leadership status among the Arrancars (The Strategy) also grant each Espada the authority to exert command over Kyo Itachi's  other forces within Shinigamie Records. Chosen by Skanks & Kyo  each espada is hand picked and elite similar to the power gap between captains and lieutenants in the Gotei 13, the strength of the Espada far surpasses that of the average rap artist.  Kyo himself is confident enough in his Espada's abilities to send them out on potentially hazardous missions. If another rapper becomes a target best believe he will get eliminated by one of these hip hop extremist.
